Celebrating Life After WLS with a Faery Tattoo
March 8, 2008 siotha
During the years after my surgery… I wasn’t really appreciative of the surgery. Then, we moved to Texas, and I told people descretly for a few years. And now, I’m taking pride in the weight I’ve lost & kept off. I truly believe that without this surgery… We would have a different problem on it’s hands or may not have had our child, would not have been a successful business woman, or I wouldn’t have gotten off the couch.
The TAT…
So this week, as I was recruiting for work, I ran across an artist – Amy Brown who does really awesome fairies. So I choose a popular Tattoo Artist at Elm Street Tattoos (Oliver Peck) and got a version of her work that suites me! So check it out, this is a pic from the “day after”. Its very painful and for any women getting a tattoo on the shoulder, be prepared to be braless for a couple of weeks….
at this point it’s still very painful and overnight i accidently slept on it.. i hope i didn’t mess it up… it’s red from my own blood, they say the colors will get better as i heal… it feels like a bad sunburn.
