life really does change after loosing 160lbs

One of the biggest concerns I had with loosing weight was – what will life be like after I have lost weight. Will people treat me differently? Will people respect me any more? Will I be able to ever be a soccer mom?
The answer is – well – I’ll never be your typical soccer mom, but I’ll surely be the first in line for all the events, sports, or whatever my family has decided to participate in. I’ll no longer be the woman that has to worry that I won’t fit in the airplane seat, roller coaster ride, be the lady that people pray they don’t get stuck next to because my fat rolls take up their “space.” I’ll be the pushy mom that people – just look at and go – oh she’s going to be hard to handle. Instead of the pushy mom that people think – she’s doing this to live out the skinny days she’d never experience. So when people ask – Did life change after surgery – I ask myself – well what angle do they want to hear about? Because being the woman I am – things significantly changed, my diet, my health, my mood, my attitude, my outlook, my time, my career, my goals, my priorities, my family, my husband, my daughter…. EVERYTHING changed… Are you ready?! Because if you can’t handle lots of change, please don’t do this surgery.
